JEALOUS MUCH???

So the day starts at 6a.m. with my friends Sandra and Angie heading on the train in down town San Francisco to pick up some t-shirts and wrist bands that will get us in to see Edward...I mean Rob Pattinson at Hot Topic in the Stonestown Galleria Mall. I was still snug in my bed at home dreaming of the future that was just a few hours away when I would see this wonderous actor who plays the roll of a nice and morally clean vampire in the Movie Twilight ( WOW! THAT TRAILER IS REALLY GOOD).

I mean, is it not every girl (and mothers) dream to meet him? Honestly, I just wanted to get a poster signed for my darling cousin who is back in Utah dying over the fact that I get to meet him in person. I could care less that he might be just a few inches away from me, signing my poster, and giving me THAT (look up) LOOK! Sooo, I wake up at 7a.m. to get ready. It only took me 20 minutes to find the perfect outfit. I brushed my teeth - twice, flossed, curled my hair ever so carefully, picked out my jewelry, did a few crunches, got dressed, looked in the mirror, changed my outfit, look in the mirror again, changed back into my first outfit, and then thought to myself; "Chelsea, are you serious???" The answer, "YES", came right back at me. Then I laugh at myself and suddenly the phone rings. I jumped with excitement! "It's Sandra, and she has the wristbands!"

"Hello?" and this is what I hear; "It was a bust." My hair suddenly went flat, I think my heart literally dropped into my stomach, and then I asked her what happened. Since I can't tell the story as good as she did I'll fill you in with this detailed account as reported in insidebayarea.com:

At least one girl was injured after a crowd got rowdy outside a San Francisco mall hoping to see the young star of the upcoming movie"Twilight."

About 3,000 people — mostly teenage girls — arrived early Monday at the Stonestown Galleria mall hours before the scheduled appearance of Robert Pattinson. The 22-year-old British actor plays Edward Cullen, a vampire who falls in love with a human, in the film scheduled for release Nov. 21.

That's right: They're losing their minds over a guy in a movie that hasn't even come out yet. He
also played Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter movies.

Police canceled Pattinson's evening autograph session at the Hot Topic store after the crowd began pushing its way inside the mall. One girl reportedly broke her nose in the crush. Hot Topic employees declined comment. San Francisco police did not return calls.

At 4:30 p.m., about 300 to 400 people were still in line in hopes that the event was still on, according to Sharon White of Danville, who had been there since 3:45 a.m. with five 13-year-old fans. At 5:30 p.m., a representative from the store confirmed that the actor agreed to sign
autographs for the first 500 customers who were in line that morning but that the scheduled question-and-answer session was canceled.

My personal thoughts on the matter: PEOPLE ARE CRAZY! I'm not crazy, but other people definitely are. I guess I can see why. He is after all immortal, can run really fast, and kills bad guys that are trying to kill you. Not to mention he has great hair and very clear skin.

So I didn't get to meet Rob at Hot Topic and have a poster signed, but I did get my picture with him later in the day when I bumped into him at the mall. He was a lot bigger in real life than I thought he would be and he must have stayed up late the night before because his eyes were all weird.

Who is that girl in the background? She was bugging me so bad and she kept trying to get her head in my picture!

Oh who cares, because when I got home it suddenly occurred to me that my hubby kind of looks like Rob give or take a few years and a few inches on the hair. Oooooh, I am one lucky girl!

And don't you just love bed head? I do.

Okay, so really....I had so much fun going into the city to see one of my very best friends Sandra. I mean she is BFF! She came with her husband Carter for work and we spent the day at Union Square searching all of our favorite stores for the perfect shirt! I made a new friend, Angie, who has the most awesome TWILIGHT related creation in the works. I already have my order in! Check back in the next week or so to find out more about it. When she says I can spill the beans, I will!

Here are some more pictures of my day in San Fran:

I Love YOU Sandra! Thanks for coming to visit me and PLEASE come back soon! Today was the BeSt!!!

XO,

Chelsea

OH MY GOD. Chelsea you made me laugh out loud. When I read about that mess I was shocked. But I can't believe you almost got to go. Your comments on that pic of you with the poster made me choke on my drink. You are hysterical. I'm glad you had a great time.

Ok, that made me laugh so hard! hahahah You are the best! I love that you jumped infront of the leading lady, it's so you. And that picture of Hartman hahaha reminds me of some conversations we had about that hair-do in Houston. Made me laugh all over again! oh, my gut hurts!

Chelsea, you make me laugh. I'm not surprised how into Twilight you are. I mean, it was Star Wars then Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and now this. Got to keep life exciting. I am surprised that your whole family wasn't dressed up like Twilight vampires for Halloween though. Thought you would have done that :)

Hartman's bed head is a good look for him.

Thanks Jen! It just makes me sick that I was only a few blocks away while he was signing posters. What I wouldn't give to have met him person:)

Lucy,

Hee hee! I remember that conversation:) I'm still trying to make him believe the longer the it is the better!

He's my little Edward.

Kaerlig! What was I thinking? We totally should have dressed up as Twilight characters. Next year for sure! I only need to loose about 100lbs, then I might be able to pull of a Bella costume!

It was soo much fun to shop, eat and hang w/ you for the day. I only wish it were longer. SO sad about the Edward ordeal and even sadder that they pulled one over on us! Grr!!! You should have seen Angie's face when Carter told her. He saw the whole schpill on Nightline the night before we left. One word: TICKED!!!

Hahaha! Natalie and I were dying, laughing out loud at you and how goofy you are, and screaming over Edward's pictures!! You are right! He is BIG! I hate that that girl was trying to get in on things, I mean, like she's Bella or something. How annoying!
You are a hoot! I wish I could've spent that day with you in San Fran! You lucky dog...the shopping! The food! The huge posters of Edward!

Love Ya!
