I have a design in McCalls Pattern Book! (it's under my own name, not pink fig patterns - just FYI)
How cute are those little girls? They did such a good job and do you recognize the fabrics? I used my aunt Lila's Soiree and Santorini collection. A little info on this pattern: I designed it, but it was written and photographed by the team at McCalls. I have had a few people ask me if it is written like a Pink Fig Pattern and it's not. It is similar to other patterns you have probably purchased from their pattern book. So, a little different approach, but you end up with an outfit that is still my kind of style :)
I will be working with them some more so keep an eye out when you're looking through those big pattern books.
I'm so excited!
Oh, and thank you for all of the entries for last months POM contest (the Nie Nie skirt). They are all so cute! I will be announcing the winner on Friday along with this months pattern.

That's WONDERFUL - Congratulations.
Wow Chelsea, congrats! That's so awesome.
Awesome. And why was this a secret? :)
I don't know why it was a secret, I guess I just wanted to make sure everything went smoothly and that it actually got put in the book before I announced it.
Today is the first day I have seen the pictures too!

I love it!!! I can't wait to see what else you do with them!
So, will we be able to find this at like Joann's? Not just online?
Congrats on your pattern! I've been getting into making patterns myself but have a difficult time sizing them for different ages. Are you self taught or do you use software to do this? Thanks for any tips you're willing to share.

I just bought this the other day. I can't wait to have time to sew it up.
Congratulations! I did see this on the McCalls site. I was thinking - they're really copying some of the independent pattern designers. I'm glad to see it is one of your patterns. I'm sure to pick it up.
Love the dress and kerchief on this pattern! Congrats on getting your work mainstreamed!
