Holiday Giveaway for the HUSBANDS!

I know there are a lot of people out there struggling this year financially and if you're like my husband and I, when money is tight the kids get the gifts and that's enough for everyone to be happy... mostly. We have forgone giving each other gifts numerous times and while it's fine and we don't really care all that much, it still kind of stinks. So how about I give 3 lucky HUSBANDS a chance to win something sweet for his wife! I will be giving away 2 aprons ( similar to the one pictured below) and 1 husband will win a 5 pack of my best selling patterns. Here's the sample apron:

Each gift will also include Promise Vouchers which are redeemable coupons that will include a bunch of things you promise to do for your wife like do the dishes, take her to a romantic movie, etc...

Your gifts come completely wrapped and just in time for Christmas! (I hope). Oh my gosh! She is soooo going to love this.

So sweet husbands of blogland, all you have to do to enter is tell me one reason why you love your wife right here on my blog and leave me your email address so I can notify you if you win. 1 comment per husband please. This contest is going to be a short one so don't dilly dally. I have to ship these out by Friday the 18th so the last comment will be accepted on Thursday night (the 17th) at midnight California time. I'll post the winners shortly after.
Now don't worry if your wife has read this post because I'm going to make a one of a kind apron that has never been done before, so it will still be a surprise!

On a side note, isn't that apron the cutest? I cannot take credit for the design and no, I won't be doing any patterns for it because it's already been done! This apron was based on a pattern kit that I got from KIM of Olive Juice Co. She is the apron Queen! Every time she lists a new one I run over to get one and within a few hours they are always gone. So I finally decided to sign up for her kit club so I don't miss out on anymore and I am totally loving it! I never have to worry about being late because she just sends it my way. I love her aprons so much, I think I could make a hundred! You should definitely look into joining her club. Hey! That would be a great gift for a thoughtful husband to give his wife and it's a gift that keeps on giving. Just a thought :)

I have the best wife a husband could ask for. I am in the military and instead of complaining about the hardships, she helps me persue my career. She really is superwoman! Everyday she wakes up with me at 4 a.m. and works on her business. She is all about shipping time and her customers love her for that. When our two boys wake up for the day she feeds them an begins pre-school. I come home to a clean and organized house everyday. She manages to get time in for herself with 2 jogs each day. I don't know how she does it. She still has engergy to spend time with me in the evenings. She is an Amazing woman. She loves your stuff and mentioned a contest for husbands (hint hint). I can see why she loves your work and blog, she has an amazing creative eye. I love her so much and in my eyes she is perfect! Thank you for this oppertunity! (pick me, lol)

My wife is making me enter this. Not that I don't love her and all, because she always puts our son and me before her own needs, but I'm not one to comment on blogs. Just shows how much I love her.

Anyway, she is the best wife, a great cook, very creative and fun to be with. I couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you.

FYI, I used my wife's Google id, since I don't have one and it automatically logged me in. Just wanted you to know.

I love that my wife is so passionate about her hobbies whether it is running or scrapbooking or anything else that she enjoys. So much so that the first thing she said to me this morning when I woke up is "you have to comment on this blog I read before you go into the office so that I can win some free stuff." There you go babe. I love you.

I love my wife for many reasons. To chose one would be impossible, but if I must, it would be because she makes me a better person. She is the ultimate example of a wife and mother, and because of that I want to live the best I can to deserve her in my life.

I love my wife for the sacrifices she makes for our family. My job moved us to an undesirable location and my wife adapted like a champ, with her company even opening a satellite office in town for her. When our baby girl was born, my wife gave up her career to be a mom. Her attention to detail as a structural engineer translated wonderfully to her self-taught skill of sewing, in which she is now an amazing seamstress (as well as a great mother, financial organizer, and cook). Finally, we are now facing another move which will take her further from her family but closer to mine, and once again my wife is willing to jump into the unknown with courage and grace.

I am also using my wife's Google account to comment. I love my wife for always being there for me, and for taking care of the day to day stuff that I would be lost at. She always thinks of the littlest details, and wants to make sure everyone around her is happy before she thinks about herself.

This is easy. I love my wife because she strives to be the best wife and mother that she can be. The things that she takes care of for us are too numerous to list. What makes this so special is that Tina had a very difficult childhood. I'm in awe of her desire to make sure that our children and I have the family home that she never had. I am a very lucky man.

I love my wife because of all of the sacrifices that she make for our family. How can you describe some one who is the love of your life?

To say that I am not much of a blogger would be an understatement. But, my wife frequents your blog and asked me to, as designer Edna from "The Incredibles" said, "Go, Fight, Win!"
The contest asked for one reason why I love my wife. I love my beautiful wife because she is a wonderful mother to your two young girls.

My wife logged on and told me to write someething nice about her. What can I say? She is the best mom & wife. Our house is not always tidy because she has fabric and clothes all over the couch but she has found her passion in sewing and I will go along with anything as long as she is happy. Another reason I love her is because she has done all the Christmas shopping and I can take the credit for some of it.

I think that all you husbands who have commented are truely fabulous! I asked my husband to read, then comment also. he sat and starred at the computer screen for what seemed like ages. then never did it. well good luck to you all, your wives are lucky to have such appreciative men in their lives who have the guts to put it in writing!!

From my wife's account too:
I love my wife for more reasons than I can mention. She is an amazing cook and would totally love this (very anthropology) apron. She is a super dedicated mother to our two children and I love the way she loves them. I love the way she writes. Her blog is the brilliant http://miraflorfamily.blogspot.com/. So... it almost 1am and I have had a LONG day. At this point my brain is starting to glitch... I LOVE MY WIFE WITH ALL MY HEART!!! There it is. - Brandon Miraflor

I love my wife because she keeps calm during all the insanity that 4 kids can bring. She is a great cook and loves to have fun and laugh. She forwarded me a link to your blog post, so I'm guessing that is a big hint!
