Holiday Giveaway!

It's that time again for the Pink Fig Holiday Giveaway! It's my last one of the year and it's going to be good! I have never done this before, mostly because I have never had a fabric line until now. I am going to give away TWO quilts! One to a random lucky person and one to a random lucky shop owner to display in their store.

I'll will do a first and second place drawing and the first place winner can pick the Quilt of their choice. The second place will get the other one. Don't worry! They are both so cute!

...HOW TO ENTER THE QUILT GIVEAWAY CONTEST...

1. Post on your blog about my giveaway with one of the quilt pictures above and link back to my blog.
2.Then post a comment here letting me know you did it with a link to your website. If you are a shop owner please say that at the end of your comment so that I can keep you separated from everyone else. That's it, but please remember you have to do both steps to be entered.
3. If you don't have a blog still leave a comment (let me know you don't have one) and I will enter you a separate giveaway for something else...an awesome Pink Fig surprise!

Entries will be accepted until MIDNIGHT December 1st! The winners will be posted on December 2nd where I will also be joining in on the Henry Glass Blog Hop!

The Winning Quilts will be mailed to you in time for Christmas in case you want to give them as a gift. For the rest of you I will be selling Kits with the Free Quilt Pattern and the fabric needed to make it in my shop. (You will only be paying for the fabric. FALL QM 2010 Part 2

Let's start out with this awesomeness!

I didn't get a picture of her booth, but check out MISS PATTY YOUNG and her dashing Greese Monkey Hubby! They were all decked out on Halloween! Definitely a highlight of the show for me! Check out her booth HERE on her blog

For the rest of the booths I'm just going to show one or 2 pics. They were all so amazing!

Amy Butler won 1stPrize for best booth...BEAUTIFUL! It was so colorful and I felt like I was in Bali or India!

Tina Givens won 2nd prize...AMAZING! Everything Tina does is so incredibly creative. Walking into her booth is like walking into a wonderland.

I did get a picture of Anna Maria Horners afterall. She changed the style of her booth this time and it was so cool! I love everything she does.

Oh my goodness! Tula Pink just blew me away! I cried the first time I saw here line. It took my breath away and check out that QUILT!

Love this line called Wild World by Jenean Morrison. She won most creative booth. Can you guess why? Check out that bike!

Ty Pennington...So cool

And wrapping it with my incredible Aunts...Lila and her new line Isabella for Riley Blake. I am in love with her line. It's so bright and that funky flower is to die for! I hope to have some of her fabric in my boutique soon.

and Lucy and her new line Pacific Trade Winds for Studio E. It's an adorable BOY and GIRL line! Isn't that such a great idea!

Oh ya...and what is this?

I have no idea, but it has a sister with a blue head and they were both looking at me the whole entire time. Kind of cool and kind of freaky.

2010 Fall QM Part 1

My husband read my last blog post and then called me a dork!

So Part 1 of my QM post is just going to feature my booth and then I'll do the rest in Part 2. There were soooo many amazing booths this time and I wasn't able to photograph all of them, but I'll show the one's that I did get. I somehow missed Patty's, Anna Maria Horners, and Bari J! I thought I got them all, but when I came home and checked my pictures they weren't there:( I guess I visited them without my camera in hand. I'm sad because their booths were all so beautiful! Luckily, you can visit their blogs to view them.

Okay...so here it goes. My booth, featuring my new fabric collection for Henry Glass MISS MODD and my new line of PINK FIG PATTERNS:

My dear friend Kara came all the way from Utah to help me! I couldn't have done it without her. Thanks Kara!!! xoxo

Do you love the curtains??? Everybody did! I had a few people try to buy them right off the wall! The credit goes to my wonderful and incredibly creative friend Amanda. The idea just popped into her head one day during church! They really did turn out so pretty. I can't wait to hang them in my sewing room!

The jewelry was provided my friend Missy of Two Charming Ladies. I'll be offering some charms and chains in my boutique very soon.

I thought I had a better picture of my quilt, but I guess not. I'll be sure to get one when I get it back from the show. I think I'm going to turn it into a pattern with the pillows because I had a lot of requests for it. It's more of a throw than anything, but perfect for any little girls room or to snuggle up in to read a good book or watch a movie.

For those of you who won the blog contests over the past few months featuring Miss Modd, I'll be sending your prizes soon!

Me and Ty

I'm back! I had a good 9 hours of sleep last night, a mini snickers for breakfast, and now I'm ready to blog. I am however, buried under a mound of paperwork. I just hired a new assistant (my mom) and until I get her trained I am back in the warehouse (my garage). My last 2 assistants Mel and Karen were the bomb and I'm pretty sure I couldn't have made it through the last year without them, so I just want to tell them THANK YOU publicly for all that they did for me. I love you girls!

Until I am able to get my mom trained, I'll be stuffing all the patterns and shipping everything on my own. Soooo...I'm a little crazy right now. Bare with me!

I'm going to start of My QM posts with a little treat. Yeah...me and Ty.

Yep, that is me and Ty Pennington from Extreme Home Makeover. I love him. I even told him that I loved him and he said, "I love you too." So there you go...Ty Pennington loves me. I already knew that he did from all the times we made eye contact while I was watching his show, but now that we have met and he told me to my face, I feel like it's official.

He also has a fabric line coming out with Free Spirit! They will be using it on his show and it will also be available for you to purchase in Quilt Shops! How cools is that?

I'll be back tomorrow with pictures of my booth and of course all the others.
Ta, Ta for now!
