Pre-Order Tea Party Skirt and Top

I made this just after seeing Alice in Wonderland! I loved all the crazy colors in that movie and wanted to try it out on this skirt. I really, really love the way it turned out! The fact that my model is pretty much the cutest thing ever helps too! Thanks to my good friend AMIE for the awesome pictures for this pattern and she did all my photo editing for all of my pattern covers this time around. Don't they look amazing? I am blown away by her talent.

This pattern features an apron skirt with a top skirt, underskirt, and a cute little embellished apron. The instructions to make the flowers for the apron and top are included! It's for sizes 12 months to 10 years.

Well, that's it! The last of my spring 2010 patterns. I talked about releasing my Holiday Embellished book a few months ago, but that didn't quite happen. However, I will be a teaching a school house for Brewer at Quilt Market on it and I plan to have it ready this summer so you have plenty of time to get your outfits done in time for the Holiday's, starting with Halloween!

The Rosie Posie Ruffle Pants and Top are my newest addition to the Pink Fig Patterns collection and I think they are going to be a favorite for many of you! These are are based off the Nie Nie skirt, (Pink Fig Pattern #18) with a few less rows. I tried for 6 rows of ruffles, but it was just too much! I like 4. Fits sizes 12 months to 10 years.

They can be worn any time of year and can be paired with ANY Pink Fig Top. OR keep it simple with a matching t-shirt or tank top!

They come with a pattern for full length or cropped and instructions on how to make 2 different coordinating tops.

April POM and March Contest Winners

The POM for April is The Lydia Dress. The contest runs from April 3-May 3 and will be on sale in my Etsy Shop until the end of April.

Rules: Make the FEATURED pattern out of your favorite designer fabrics, take a picture on a model (either a child or a mannequin) send me the picture(s) to put in my customer gallery. I will pick one of the submissions to win a fabulous prize.

TIPS: I ask my family what their favorites are and take that into consideration when I chose the winner. I look a lot of different things, but the 2 things that stand out to me the most are: creative choice of fabrics and picture quality. You don't have to have professional pictures or a nice camera. A point and shoot camera will do fine, but take into consideration the setting and surroundings. Try and take pictures that will stand out to me and catch my eye!

PRIZE: The winner will be featured on my blog with a link to your blog, website, or shop address and will also receive a $50 gift certificate to Pink Fig Patterns or Vintage Chic Boutique. This can be redeemed directly through me or in myETSY shop.

Would you believe me if I said I forgot?

I forgot about everything that I was really suppose to do today. I skipped out on the gym and went to lunch with friends. I didn't make my bed, do dishes, or fold laundry. When I should have been working, I went to a birthday/dinner party, ate too much, and stayed too long. On my way home I remembered I was suppose to announce a winner for the March contest and POM contest. I totally blew it off!

So I guess all there is to say is...
