So you've seen my booth before. Same old, same old this time around. Maybe next spring I'll come up with something new, but for now I'll just show you a few pictures of it, mostly with people in them because that's way more fun! It's all the other booths that are really going knock your socks off.

My Booth! WooooW. Right?

DAY 1

Me and my beautiful Aunt, but mostly close friend LUCY. I LUV LUCY!
She has helped me the last 3 times in my booth since I debuted last spring and I would have literally died without her.

My BEAUTIFUL Mother In Law Kathy standing in front of her grandbaby:) She was helping Lila, but loved to sneak over to take peeks at her babies hanging on the wall. She's such a good grandma. I Love you Kathy!

The always gorgeous Miss Lila Tuller! She had on an outfit made from her fabric and patterns every day! Her patterns are flying off the shelf in my shop!
Lila's
booth was a haven for me. I loved to go in there and sit in her chair and just veg out. I felt like I was in her house! She has the most amazing style and taste. Lila is my idol...seriously. Her new fabric line Santorini will be in my shop in September!

My Family! Kathy, Me, Lucy, Lila

My MOST favorite Quilt Market moment was when Lila won Best New Exhibitor! She worked so hard on Stella and then shipped her bootie...I mean body, half way across the nation for all to see! Those late nights paid of Lila! I'm just so proud...sniffles. (I didn't get a picture of Stella's bootie, but let's just say it was plump).

That night Lila and I went on the dinner cruise with Moda. I was able to sit by my cousin Elena (who came all the way from Arizona) at dinner!

After dinner Lila took a swim

On day 2 I had a lot of visitors in my booth and at one point we were having a little party! I had left for a minute to go walk around and when I came back there were about 8-10 people in there with Lucy laughing and having a good time! She's such a good hostess.

Day 3 I was finally able to break out and visit some of my favorite booths:

I got to Amy's booth just as she was leaving for lunch and I forgot to get my picture with her, but as always her booth was stunning as is she!

Check out these pillows made from Daisy Chain:

And her sweet life bags. (I have one and I love it!)Should I carry some in my Etsy shop? Would you buy them from me?

My sweet friend Valori Wells and her beautiful new line. She's so amazing!

The most loved GUY at Quilt Market JOEL Dewberry and Vicki Payne who is a new designer for Westminster Fibers. Her fabrics are for home dec and clothing and it was stunning!

Oh My goodness! Patty's booth was like a candy shop for me! The colors, fabrics, and the whole design. YUM! (I'll be carrying some in my shop soon.) Her new pattern line debuted at this market and they are hot! hot! hot!

Patty always looks awesome. Her tunic was so cute! I want to steal it from her closet.

I love this doll Elinor Peace Bailey made her. So cool!

Paula Prass totally kicked bootie! Her new line Summer Soiree is....AWESOME! I love the color scheme and I can't wait to get my box of her stuff from MM to work with. I'll defintely have some of this in my shop and everywhere else too. I love it!

Laura Gunn! What can I say? She is so freaking cool! I cannot believe how well Michael Miller translated her artwork into fabric. The pictures don't do it justice. It was gorgeous. Watch for some Lantern Bloom in my shop! BTW Elinor Peace Bailey is her mom and Heather Bailey is her SIL. Can you say "Talented FAMILY!"

And last but not least, the two sweetest ladies there Cindy and Jina from Riley Blake. It's a hot new fabric company that you are going to love:) Check back later for more details!

There were so many more amazing booths, but I didn't have time to get them all. I'll try to do better next time! Well, I'm all tuckered out. Talk to you later!!!

May 01, 2009

This is a the season for a lot of NEW things from me. New patterns, new sizes in some of my old patterns, and a new design for my pattern covers!

I decided to do a updated cover for the Bella pants in my new style because the old one really bugged me. It's also my 1 year Pink Fig Patterns Anniversary this month so I'm doing a MEGA GIVEAWAY! Check below for details

You would not believe what I had to go through to get this shot! First let's start off with what I did on Tuesday. I had a chemical peel and it was pretty hard core. My face is totally peeling off right now so when I go out I have slap on a ton of aquaphor to keep it from...well scaring people. From the second we got out of the car all flying bugs were attracted to my face and they would stick to it because of the aquaphor! I had a moth on my cheek that I could not get off. EWE!

Second, the models were being sooo girly. There was some fake laughing, real crying, non-stop wiggling, and then finally we had some fun for about 5 minutes before the sun went down and it got cold. Out of 150 shots I only got 1 shot that was pattern cover worthy! What I thought turned out to be a disaster, ended up just fine. I love it when that happens.

Now for the 1 year Pink Fig Patterns Anniversary Giveaway!!!

Leave a comment on this post. Nothing special...just tell me what you like about my patterns or if you aren't a sewer comment on my designs, blog, pictures, playlist, whatever! You will then be entered in a drawing to win the items listed below:

  • A Pink Fig Patterns office kit: Mouse Pad, Pen, Note Pad, Calender Magnet, and a mug! lol! I order all of this stuff for fun and they turned out really cute!
